I greatly enjoyed my stay at the ophthalmology department of the Nagoya University hospital! Everyone was extremely welcoming and willing to help me out and answer all my questions. I got to see many surgeries as well as the ward and outpatient clinic. I even got to practice sutures and little surgeries on their training equipment and assist in actual surgeries.
Everyone took really good care of me and took me out for lunch and dinner and gave me travel advise on my weekendtrips to Kamikochi and Kyoto.
I have definitely broadened my medical horizon and met an amazing team of physicians that works great together and has a lovely working environment and atmosphere.
