After arriving in Japan in October 2012, I have been in Nagoya University for more than 1 and half years.
During this period, I mostly worked in the laboratory for basic researches. The work in the lab is tough but also interesting. Besides of experiments, I have to read papers in order to follow the fast-changing knowledge in the world. Meanwhile, getting new ideas and designing the projects is necessary.
In the lab, we work as a team. Several projects are ongoing at the same time. That’s why the teamwork within our group is crucial. There are always discussions in our lab any time we get any new ideas or results.
Our lab is active and efficient. Thanks to the kind help from all the colleagues in the department, I am enjoying staying here and I’ve learning a lot about the researches.

2012年10月に日本に来て、名古屋大学で研修を開始してから早くも1年半が経ちました。この期間中、ほとんどの時間を基礎研究のために研究室で仕事をしています。
実験室での仕事は大変ではありますが、また楽しくもあります。実験の他に、この分野では、あっという間に古くなってしまう知識を常に新しい状態に維持するために、多くの文献を読む必要があります。そうしている間にも、新しいアイデアを考え、プロジェクトを計画することが必要です。
実験室では、チームの一員として働いています。同時にいくつものプロジェクトが進行しています。それゆえに、グループ内でのチームワークが非常に重要なのです。新しいアイデアや結果を得た時にはいつでもディスカッションをしています。
我々の実験室は、活気があって効率良く仕事をしています。一緒に働いている同僚のみなさんの親切な助けのおかげで、毎日が楽しいものとなり、研究について多くのものを学んでいます。
